The most exciting time at Blessed Sacrament School is the Fall and Winter seasons. In the east, Fall crisps the air and turns the leaves lovely shades of red, brown and orange, but in Los Angeles, Fall at Blessed Sacrament means music, games, rides and delicious finger foods because Fall is Carnival. Held in October, Carnival involves the entire parish, community and school. Carnival is a major school fund raising event that attracts hundreds of people, young and old, who come to support the school and parish and simply to have a good time over a three-day delight.

Also in October are the popular Halloween Dance and the Halloween Parade. Start planning your costume now, because you won’t want to miss Halloween.

On a more spiritual, but still festive note, there is the Thanksgiving special lunch at Blessed Sacrament School where everyone gives thanks for what they have and the children finalize their Caring Hearts project to give helpful gifts to people who are less fortunate.

Before Christmas vacation, there is a special Christmas program and a Christmas Pageant.

Other events include a Valentine dance, Mother’s Day dinner-dance and other special events for children.
