Our students participate in a wide array of extracurricular and after school activities, including softball, football, volleyball for girls and boys and dance classes. Our school athletic teams compete with other Catholic schools in the Los Angeles area and are frequent winners in their divisions. In addition to our sports and athletic programs, after school activities include science club, chess club, choir, dance and an academic challenge club being formed in January 2011.

Our school is very well integrated into the parish life so that students have the opportunity to act as altar servers during various Sunday liturgies, making presentations at the Masses and actively participating in the Parish-School Carnival.

Students in the upper grades are involved with the community outreach by working with the Blessed Sacrament Social Services program. Moreover, students conduct a Caring Hearts drive for the homeless in November, for which they received a City of Los Angeles award in 2003 for excellent community service. Students also participate in preparing holiday baskets at Thanksgiving & Christmas  for families in our parish needing extra help.

Older students operate a Student Council and younger ones benefit from learning about bicycle and other traffic safety from visits by Safe Moves.  Student Council members actively plan fundraisers and activities during the school year to prepare for the challenges of high school.

Field trips and learning activities occur throughout the school year.
